Winding Roads (24 miles)

The N. Lake Samish Road bridge is currently closed. Below is the alternate bike route if the bridge remains closed on race day.

The road bike course starts at Lake Padden horse parking lot and finishes at Way Point Park

Miles 1-2: South-East out of Lake Padden Park along Samish Way over I-5 heading down to Lake Samish.

Mile 3: Wind downhill to N. Lk. Samish.

Mile 4.3: Turn left onto East Lake Samish Road.

Miles 4.3-6.8: Along the East side of Lake Samish to Nulle Road.

Mile 6.8: Turn right onto Nulle Road along the south end of the lake.

Mile 7.4: Turn right onto West Lake Samish Drive.

Mile 9.1: Sharp Turn left onto Summerland Road

Miles 9.1-11.5: Follow Summerland Road, continue onto Nulle Road.

Mile 11.5: Turn left onto East Lake Samish Drive.

Mile 14: Turn right and climb uphill on North Lake Samish Drive to Old Samish Road/Samish Way.

Mile 14.9: Turn left onto Old Samish Road.

Miles 15-19: Along Old Samish Road in the shadows of Chuckanut Mountain.

Miles 19.5 – : Slight right on Chuckanut Drive and follow North until 12th street. Slight right on 12th street.

Miles 21-24: Follow 12th/Finnegan Way/11th/South State Street to the roundabout. Follow the roundabout all the way around to Wharf Street. Make your way down and across the railway tracks and onto Cornwall Avenue. Turn left on Laurel Street and follow to Way Point Park.

FINISH: Way Point Park

Rules: You must obey all posted traffic signs- follow the rules of the road unless you are following law enforcement or traffic control instructions. Please.
You may draft with others. If you encounter somebody that needs help, please stop to assist.

Parking:
At Padden: Please park on the right side of Wilkin Ave. or within the park.

At Way Point Park: Park in the gravel lot or parking spaces on the street.
